We have a whole galaxy to explore here, so we're bound to come across many different alien species. With that being said, this form requires the most effort and creativity and therefore we will have periodic competitions for new species creations (to be opened in site-wide announcements) and we will approve only one each competition.
The key to creating them lies in the details. Anyone interested in creating a new species can feel free to submit one for the staff to review. Please follow the form guidelines below so that the consideration process can be more streamlined and efficient. This is for INTELLIGENT species only.
[b/]Name of Species[/b]
[b/]Appearance and Biology[/b]- What do they look like? What kind of air do they need to breathe (if any)? Do they have any unique characteristics or evolutionary developments that allow them to survive better in certain situations?
[b/]Culture and Society[/b]- This covers everything for day to day life. How do they interact with each other? What do they do for recreation? How are their families and cities grouped together? What kind of art (if any) do they value?
[b/]Preferred Habitat[/b]- This goes along with their biology. Do they need to be submersed in water to survive? What sorts of climates/conditions can they or can't they survive in?
[b/]Philosophy and Religion[/b]- You don't need to create an entire religion here, but give a brief description of popular deities or who/what they believe in.
[b/]Technological Level and Space Flight[/b]- Has this species discovered electricity? Sea travel? Advanced tools and machinery? Flight? Space travel?
[b/]History and Interspecies Relations[/b]- Give a brief outline of the specie's history (3-4 paragraphs) and how they interact with other species (if any). Specifically include relations with humans and if they have met them before, how they met, how their current relations are, and any major trade interactions.

When creating your species, please keep in mind that others can not see them in your head. We all know what humans are like, so let us know how your creations fit into the new galaxy.
