Events are site-wide canon stories that can take place at any given time or location. Every approved character is welcome to join in the story to help shape the events and outcomes. Only one event may be active at a time, so if you have an idea for one you must wait until the completed event has finished.
To create an event, you must purchase it from the Market and deliver your idea to the admin. The site story line develops around these, so they are majorly impactful for the galactic state. Each canonical year will have two-three events, so there is plenty of room to get your ideas in. This does not mean that your individual stories can not make the site canon. For details, see the Canon Submission.
Unlike regular threads, events have a posting limit. Each thread may have no more than 100 posts total (5 pages). Anything beyond the 5th page will not be considered for the site canon storyline. This is to ensure timely completion and make the threads more eventful (get it?) than regular threads. However, there may be any number of threads to cover various aspects and topics of each event, but the admin may limit these to ensure they are able to be completed.
After the event is completed, the developed threads and stories will be summarized and combined into the canonical post to be added to The Story So Far, completing one season.
