The "Mass Variant Application" Armor is serves as the standardized equipment for personnel on the Prometheus Project. Before V-Tech was created by Ginseng-Varma Technologies, MVA was the highest grade of environmental armor. Ginseng-Varma based their designs off of this versatile suit that is widely accepted as the greatest advancement in personal protection for space exploration. While this is not a military-graded suit, the MVA still holds many impressive features to aid in any given situation.
Utilizing high tensile, polycarbonate nano-fibers, MVA provides excellent resistance to impact, blunt force, and low-intensity energy bolts. It will shield its wearer from extreme temperatures, including the vacuum of space, and resistance to higher temperatures. Internal regulation keeps the wearer comfortable and safe from cracked or crushed bones.
Enhanced actuators support the joints to offer increased mobility and impact resistance. Combined with the nano-fiber design, the wearer can endure longer drops and make higher jumps than normal.
Magnetic generators in the soles provide the wearer with excellent maneuverability in a vacuum, allowing for instant connection with the hull of a ship or other metallic surface. Generators activate upon sensory control, reacting to the nerve command to instantly allow for activation or deactivation.
The advanced visor offers many reliable and handy features to aid in most situations. The heads-up display can be personalized with maps, sensor readouts, virtual scanner, and night vision.
MVA armor is standard issue for all personnel on Prometheus.
