Emerald Expanse This area of the galaxy actually houses human and petalian controlled space. However, with humans being new to the galaxy and the petalians' relatively constrained nature, much of the Expanse has yet to be explored. Long range scanners indicate hundreds of habitable, green planets, giving the area its name. |

Outer Ridge A seldom traversed area of the galaxy due to its distance from inhabited space, not much is known of this sector. Petalian ships have explored some of the closet reaches, but its sheer emptiness is daunting to approach. There may be inhabitable space and planets somewhere within its depths... |

Ethereal Traverse Surrounds roughly 60% of the galactic core. This area of the galaxy is filled with asteroid belts and exploding stars, as well as many strange phenomena that have yet to be explained. Ships often go missing in this sector without any warning. |

Crysallis A dense, ice packed area of the galaxy filled with many cold stars and icy planets. The few viable systems in this area have even fewer viable planets. It is mostly dark space and unexplored. |
